Stefano Trentino

Stefano is the founding partner of CASE CASSIOPEA’s Milan office, Stefano has more than 30 years of investment banking activity and before founding Cassiopea Partners he led the Investment Banking activities of ABN AMRO in Italy.

He joined ABN AMRO in 1999 and held various senior positions in London and Milan, including Managing Director roles in ABN AMRO Rothschild and the ABN AMRO M&A Department. Before ABN AMRO was Co-Head Investment Banking in Italy of Robert Fleming & Co and started his career in investment banking in the M&A department of Swiss Bank Corporation.

Stefano has advised on numerous high profile strategic assignments and M&A transactions, both domestically and internationally, across various industries including, consumer, retail, transport, energy, healthcare and TMT. Among others Stefano led the acquisition by Weather Investments of Wind Telecomunicazioni, at the time the largest LBO in Europe and led all largest transaction executed by Case Cassiopea in Italy including advising on the sale of Grandi Stazioni Retail, the acquisition of Hippocrates and the sale of Novamont to ENI.

He graduated Summa Cum Laude from La Sapienza University of Rome and completed the Young Managers Program at INSEAD Fontainebleau.
