Marcus Bär

Marcus is a founding partner of CASE CASSIOPEA in Germany with more than 25 years of experience in international investment banking and corporate finance.

Prior to founding CASE CASSIOPEA, he worked for ABN AMRO and later The Royal Bank of Scotland.

As a senior corporate finance professional, Marcus advised German and international clients on a number of high-profile transactions including private M&A assignments both on the buy and sell-side, public takeover offers, hostile takeovers, public-to-private transactions, corporate restructurings and carve outs, as well as IPOs and other capital markets transactions.

Marcus holds a degree in business administration with majors in Finance and Marketing from the International Business School Bad Nauheim and University of Lincoln. Prior to his studies, he completed a two-year trainee program with Deutsche Bank.
