Marco Forasassi Torresani

Marco joined CASE CASSIOPEA in Milan in 2012.

Prior to joining CASE CASSIOPEA, Marco founded Eidos Partners, which within six years, grew to become one of the prominent Italian investment banking firms.

From 2000 to 2003, following Citigroup's acquisition of Schroders Corporate Finance, Marco served as Director of European Investment Banking at Citigroup. Before that, from 1996 to 2000, he held the position of Director of Investment Banking at Schroder Italia SIM SpA. His career began at Salomon Brothers International Ltd, where he was a Vice President in the investment banking division.

Throughout his investment banking career, which also encompassed roles at Solomon Brothers, Schroders, and Citigroup, Marco advised on numerous notable transactions. These included the restructuring of Parmalat, the acquisition of Valentino Fashion Group, advisory roles for IRI and the Italian Treasury on the privatisation of Autostrade, Solvey's acquisition of Ausimont, and Gruppo Riva's acquisition of Ilva Laminati piani.

Marco graduated in Industrial Technology Engineering, specialising in organisational economics, from the Politecnico of Milan. He obtained FSA and Series 7 approvals in 1990 and 1993, respectively.
