Career opportunity in our Frankfurt office for an entrepreneurial M&A Senior Associate with up to five years of experience

The position at our office in Frankfurt will focus primarily on taking on significant day to day responsibility for the execution of active M&A projects. The role offers accelerated deal ownership, client exposure, and the opportunity to drive key workstreams from early stages to closing next to sourcing new engagements. 

The Senior Associate will work closely with all levels within the firm and our network while executing a variety of projects across multiple sub-sectors and geographies.

The daily work will be highly diverse and will include:

  • Working on live international M&A transactions and other corporate finance projects. Thereby assuming day to day responsibility for transaction workstreams (process management, valuation, due diligence, documentation, and client updates)
  • Actively contributing to client discussions and taking ownership of deliverables
  • Preparing and participating in originating efforts
  • Coordinating internal and external parties (clients, advisers, buyers, etc.) and managing project timelines
  • Building and reviewing complex financial and valuation models (integrated planning models, LBO and DCF models, scenario and sensitivity analyses)
  • Guiding and coaching analysts, ensuring high quality of models, analyses and presentation materials
  • Seek to identify new business opportunities and new client ideas
  • Building sector expertise and market knowledge

Your profile

  • Professional, driven and outgoing personality with a genuine interest in the corporate finance and M&A advisory businesses
  • Experience in leading client presentations, project management and the execution of transactions
  • Ability and ambition to independently manage day to day M&A deal tasks and workstreams
  • Motivation to grow into a future Vice President role with increasing client responsibility
  • Excellent academic track record and successful completion of a master degree
  • 3-5 years of work experience in Investment Banking, Consulting or Audit
  • Strong analytical skills paired with advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Team-oriented mindset, stress resilience, pro-active and a passion for excellence
  • Very strong communication and presentation skills in German and English
